Fed, watered and rooms inspected (some gaining a 'distinction' would you believe?) and now time for games night!

Very neat and tidy!!

We have had a great day at Robin Hood's Bay where we carried out rock pooling and learnt about coastal erosion at the Old Coastguard Station. We honed our map-reading skills following a village trail which taught us more about both the History and Geography of Robin Hood's Bay. The sun shone for much of the afternoon and allowed us to have our picnic lunch outside, untroubled by seagulls! Plenty of walking and fresh sea air should mean we all sleep well tonight - fingers crossed!

We have had a very calming start to the day by meeting Sister Grace of St Hilda's Priory. Sister Grace told us all about a day in the life of a sister and the girls asked some brilliant questions after her talk. As we left the chapel, the sun made its first appearance of the trip so far!

Good morning! Most of us have had a good night's sleep and are enjoying a hearty start to the day with cereal, toast and a full English breakfast! It's cloudy today, but most importantly it is dry - let's hope it holds out for rock pooling adventures this afternoon!
